An Evening with Fabrizio Ravanelli (Saturday)

The Longest Forty Production Co. are delighted to announce two very special and intimate events with Italian footballing Legend Fabrizio Ravanelli at The Riverside Stadium in April.

Hosted by Sky Sports’ Mark Benstead, the evening will include all the behind-the-scenes stories from that 1996/97 season where, after signing for Bryan Robson’s side for £7 million, he scored an incredible hat-trick on the opening day of the season versus Liverpool before going on to hit the back of the net 31 times as The Boro reached 2 domestic Cup Finals.

Ravanelli started and ended his playing career at hometown club Perugia. He won five titles with Juventus and a Champions League title in 1996 where he opened the scoring at the Stadio Olimpico before “the Old Lady” lifted the trophy following a dramatic penalty shoot-out.

Affectionately nicknamed 'The White Feather', he earned 22 caps for the Italian national team, scoring 8 goals, was a member of the Italian squad that took part at UEFA Euro 1996 and an acclaimed national hero.

Guests also have the opportunity to put their questions to the Fabrizio during the 2nd half of the show, as well as having the chance to win some exclusive memorabilia.
